Bulgarian Rose Oil and Rose Oil-Based Bio Cosmetics

Rosa damascena, also known as the Damask rose, is the rose mostly associated with Bulgaria’s rose oil industry. For centuries, Bulgarian rose farmers have cultivated these oil-bearing roses and developed an expertise to turn the flowers into valuable ingredients such as rose oil, rose water and other rose-oil-based products.

The rose itself is strongly connected to the Rose Valley in central Bulgaria, particularly around the areas: Kazanlak, Karlovo and Strelcha. Although its history began in the Western and Central parts of Asia, the rose has been brought to Bulgaria where it has found favourable climate conditions and has become one of the main industries for the region.

Now, the combination of local growing conditions, Bulgarian traditional cultivation and generations of experience in harvesting and distillation has helped Bulgaria build a strong reputation for its high-quality rose oil industry.

Their value comes from their broad use in:

– luxurious fragrance
– luxury skincare
– natural facial oils
– anti-aging products
– spa products
– aromatherapy
– premium gift products
– wellness
– luxury cosmetics

With close personal connections to rose oil and cosmetics makers and brands, based in the Kazanlak area, we contribute to bringing Bulgaria’s liquid gold to Southeast Asia, the GCC, and the US. All products we export are based on first-hand experience and a rigid selection process.
